Why Revive The Order?

It is the nature of this Order to revive.  Unlike most organizations that strive to continue in perpetuity, this organization shuts down by design every several hundred years once it achieves its goal, which is to augment its followers as much as possible.  Then, to preserve its integrity and mission, it becomes dormant for one or more generations, and then is revived once again to take a new society from relative obscurity to international potency.

Personal Achievement.  If a mind is a terrible thing to waste, how much more a great mind?  Modern society places many burdens on individuals that hinder most extraordinary men from having the opportunity to actuate their best ideas.  Ideas and the ability to realize them are what separates human beings from other creatures.  The combined resources of a group offer more leverage, more economy, and more efficacy than the efforts of a single person.  This society of alpha males will give opportunity for the individuals within to refine ideas with less trial and error, utilize tools and assets at lower cost, and help clear the way to do and become more than they could alone.

Societal Contribution.   This Order has existed alongside and enabled some of history's great powerbrokers, and facilitated the evolution of civilization as we know it.  The Order has been dormant for almost 100 years, and its revival can only benefit civilization, and by no small measure, its members.

Exceptional Unity.  Loyalty, trust, devotion, honor--all these are traits that have virtually disappeared in the world.  Few can without any doubt rely on the fidelity of a spouse, family member, friend, or colleague.  The Order is not for the common man, whose vision is blocked by fables and presumption, who betrays his word for gain, who seeks the easiest road.  The Order will give each ram the strength of the herd, knowing with certainty that he will bear that strength masterfully, acting in harmony with The Order.

Why Richmond, Virginia?

Richmond, Virginia is a city without equal in the American Continent, with its combined value of strategic location, historic significance, cultural diversity, and was once a national capital itself.  Richmond affords a considerable historic district, numerous learning centers, modest cost-of-living, robust business center, and is a dynamic transportation hub.  It's the capital of the Commonwealth of Virginia, which is home to the continent's leading centers for policy, defense, intelligence, communication, theory, and advancement of technology.

Richmond will allow The Order access to a diverse spectrum of domestic and foreign minds to constitute its ranks, the dignity befitting this organization, and proximity to historic landmarks that are relevant to the society's interests.
 

The Founder's Presentation

I, the Founder, will host a private dinner at which The Order's history and structure will be discussed.  Those who feel strongly that they meet the requirements of this organization and desire to participate should apply for an invitation to this presentation.

According to The Order's guiding manuscript, the society's inner circle will consist of 67 men.  I am authorized to select 10 other founding members who will be instrumental in bringing the group to its full population, electing its governors, and devising agenda, fees, facilities, and specific benefits.
