ALPHA MALE SOCIETY
IN RICHMOND, VIRGINIA

APPLICATION

Instructions

This form is an appeal to the Founder for consideration to be invited to the private presentation which will take place in March, 2009.  This application requires contact information, a list of your skill sets, and a few essay questions.  Please be thorough, and be assured this information is used for application purposes only.

Consider your answers carefully so as not to overstate or understate your skills.  If inducted into The Order, you may be expected to function at the levels and in the fields you represent herein.  Misrepresentations, however slight, will adversely effect a member's standing.

Applicants will become invitees based solely on their gender, skill sets, temperament, ambition, location, and how completely and clearly this application is completed.  Race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, certifications, and heritage are not relevant.

This presentation will serve to fill the first 11 out of 67 seats in the organization.  Those who do not receive invitations may still be called upon at a future date to interview to fill subsequent seats in The Order.  All applications are greatly appreciated and handled with sensitivity.  Those not wishing to transmit this application online may fill out this form, print it, then mail it to:

IBEX
3126 West Cary Street, Suite 700
Richmond, Virginia 23221

Deadline for applications online or by mail is 31 January 2009.

If you wish, you may review the Founder's application answers here.

Declaration Statement

I am making this application solely because I have an interest in attending the Founder's presentation with the intention of becoming a member.  I am not applying by assignment or representing another individual or entity.

I am requesting an invitation to the Founder's presentation with the understanding that I will be the Founder's personal guest, and attending at his expense.

I have had a life-long thirst for knowledge, discovery, and invention.

I have a high degree of self-confidence, and this confidence is not unwarranted.

I am willing to serve my fraternal brothers unselfishly.  I am not applying to allocate a team to rescue me from existing problems.  I would bring strength to the organization, not weakness.

I deliver on my promises.  If I make a vow before my peers, they can rely on my word, ability, and dedication, without any doubts.

I do not suffer from any significant delusional, identity, or anxiety disorders.  I also do not have a chemical dependency or other compulsive behavior problem.

I am interested in self-improvement, ongoing education, and further increasing my mental and physical capabilities.  I would value the opportunity to cross-train with other accomplished men to enhance my financial and cultural mobility.

I exercise self-discipline, and am open to suggestion, instruction, and even criticism without feeling provoked.

I am excited by the thought of pooling my skills and experience with other highly capable entrepreneurs to create and co-own profitable ventures, services, and resources I could not attain on my own.

I would like very much to collaborate, socialize, and share ideas with fellow men of like intellect, drive, and personality.  Having a network of friends with unquestionable loyalty is highly appealing.

I speak the following languages fluently:

I comprehend the following languages on an intermediate level:

I have lived for more than one year in the following countries:

I have immediate family, manage business interests, or own property in the following foreign countries:

My personal net worth (in US dollars) is:

 under $100,000
 between $100,001 and 1,000,000
 between $1,000,001 and 10,000,000
 over $10,000,000

(How you answer this question will not increase or decrease your likelihood of receiving an invitation--men of all economic perspectives are required.  Your financial resources will not be discussed or revealed, and you will not be solicited for anything beyond application for membership in The Order at the conclusion of the Founder's presentation.)

Skill Sets

Indicate your level of knowledge and experience in each of the following skill sets by checking one of the ballot boxes labeled 1, 2, or 3.

1 = Novice/Amateur (working knowledge, some training, <2 years exp.)
2 = Intermediate/Advanced (degree, journeyman, 2-10 years' exp.)
3 = Expert/Master (post-graduate degree, master's grade, 10+ years' exp.)

Do NOT check any of the boxes if you have merely a strong or long-standing interest (or a layman's understanding) of any particular field.  Only check boxes to indicate if you have at least a significant degree of working knowledge in the corresponding field(s).  If you have little to no experience in any listed field, simply leave the boxes unchecked.

Please list specific details in the "dialogue" section for any pursuits you check that bear an asterisk (*).

If you have any comments you wish to make regarding this fraternity, the site, or the application process, or questions for the founder, please enter them in the space below.

How would your presence benefit the organization?  What major contributions might you bring to the function and well-being of this society and its members?

Describe one of your greatest weaknesses (we are all human, and the Founder shares just such a confession for your consideration).  You may briefly share more than one if you wish.
